ABOUT ANNA

I started my cooking journey as so many do, by learning from my mother, who mostly cooked with fresh vegetables from the garden and plenty of home reared Cotswold lamb. After university, I spent three winters as a chalet girl in France and America, before returning home to the corporate world. Marriage and babies brought me back to the Cotswolds, where my love of cooking for others was reignited, ultimately leading to The Travelling Kitchen.
I now work with a team of people who all enjoy helping to create delicious meals for you, cooked from scratch, using great quality seasonal ingredients. We also work with a number of local suppliers, such as R&R Catering Hire, Dough Wood Fired Pizza and Cotswold Marquees to make sure that your event is exactly as you dreamed.
PREVIOUS EVENTS

Chinese New Year
We were asked to cater a Chinese New Year party deep in the Cotswolds. After research we came up with a menu that included rainbow rice rolls with peanut dipping sauce, belly pork with star anise and sweet chilli sauce, and 'take-away' boxes of sesame chicken with smashed cucumber salad and wilted Chinese greens.

Sandwich buffets
Birthday parties, work meetings and funerals are often traditionally catered by a sandwich buffet. In particular we like to make funeral teas as personal as possible, whether that's supplying guests with pink gins, hiring antique china or making specific sandwiches.

Relaxed family reunion
A long overdue family reunion of three generations from all over the world. We supplied a cold buffet of baked ham, local bread and cheeses alongside vibrant salads. After an afternoon of high energy games (on their part) we served tea with homemade cake, scones and cream.
